Why do folks think it's OK to shove their responsibilities onto someone else's shoulders...without asking permission to do so?
Don't we all have lessons to learn, burdens to embrace, issues and responsibilities. Who wouldn't mind handing over problems to God, Jesus, the angels, daddy, mommy or Donald Trump? Sometimes, a loud, vindictive scream, of 'yer fired!' at our responsibilities gives us a short reprieve from them. But, they'll come back like a bad case of acne.
I've been told I need to ask for help...open myself up to receiving and trusting others for help. But, there always seems to be too steep a price for me to pay...a payback. Guilt. Shame. Expectations.
For others, perhaps weaker, perhaps stronger, perhaps clueless...it is a way of life...never taking responsibility for their beliefs, actions, words, thoughts, lives.
Why pay that debt owed? When you can walk away without even a spanking...why pillage a country, corrupt a person, take every resource around you and leave nothing but barren land, bank accounts, souls in your wake?
I believe in Karma. I believe everything I do, say, whisper, think, feel, move, create has a responsibility attached to it. Everything becomes a tiny ripple in the universe, erupting out, causing strife, struggle, gentleness, goodness, fear, love...
We are all one...we are all united...everything is connected...are we really so that very different...do we really think that what we do can not relate to everything?
Like the ripple...
The future = the past...
Unless we grow and change.
